Synopsis: A freshman at Trinity School, Jerry Renault finds himself the victim of harassment and violence when he refuses to sell chocolates as a fund-raiser. At first his fellows are surprised. Then Jerry becomes a hero. When chocolate sales go way down, The Vigils, a secret society, convince the fellows to sell all the chocolates. Jerry is thrust into a nightmare as he becomes an outcast and then a direct target.
